Ohio CPE requirements for CPAs

Hours

120 hours every 3 years (at least 20 a year)

Ethics

3 hours per period. Board-approved professional standards and responsibilities course (Ohio law/ethics), per OAC 4701-15-11.

Also required

• 24 hours accounting/auditing/attest if doing that work
• 24 hours taxation if doing tax work

Reporting deadline

December 31 each year (triennial period ends Dec 31)
